Not medical advice, not a substitute for a clinician, and not a guarantee of legal status.

Not medical advice
The Peptide Record publishes information about cosmetic and dietary ingredients. It is not medical advice and should not be used to diagnose or treat anything — talk to a qualified clinician about your own health. Peptides described in the Library are not approved medicines for the uses they are commonly marketed for; several are prescription-only and some are prohibited in certain countries.
Evidence grades aren't guarantees
Our A–D evidence grades describe the strength of the research behind an ingredient, not a promise about your results. See our standard for exactly what each grade means and doesn't mean.
Regulatory status changes
Statements about legal or regulatory status summarise public records as of the review date shown on each page and on the legal status tracker. These positions can and do change; always verify current status before acting on it, especially for anything prescription-only or under active regulatory review.
Not a testing lab
We report findings from independent testing bodies and cite them; we do not independently test every product or batch ourselves unless a page specifically says so.
Commercial disclosure
No brand pays for placement in the Library, and none ever will. Where a commercial relationship exists — for example, a retail margin or commission through the Register — it is disclosed on every page where it applies. See how we make money.
